KSDK -- If you watched Jeopardy this week, chances are you saw two high school students from the St. Louis area competing on the quiz show's teen tournament.

On Tuesday, Kennedy Stomps, a junior at Metro High School in St. Louis, earned $6,600. This past Friday, senior Gabe Orlet of Althoff High School in Belleville, Illinois, earned enough money to move on in the Teen Jeopardy Challenge.

Orlet will appear on NewsChannel 5 on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The show was taped in August, but he has not been able to say how he did until the episode airs.

"So, it is going to be another three or four days of keeping my mouth shut," Orlet said.
